About Us

Jules Maes is the oldest bar in Seattle and we are extremely happy to become part of its history.   Jules Maes “The Mayor of Georgetown” was a magnetic man that earned his nickname through hard work, caring for others, and his strong community service. We can only hope to accomplish half the praise and respect he earned.

Rache’, the new owner, has been slingin’ drinks since 2001. She loves people, good food, good drinks, and good laughs.  Jules Maes was a part of her first date with her husband. They married in September of 2020 right after she took over Jules Maes.  She cannot express how grateful and honored she is to care for this historic saloon. 

It is her goal to keep Jules Maes how you all know it. Great comfort food with a bistro flair. Freshly squeezed drinks…Who doesn’t love fresh OJ in mimosas or screwdrivers??? Rache’s favorite is fresh-squeezed greyhounds.  So good.

The venue is back, music has returned to Georgetown! Expect to catch a show at Jules every weekend!

Jules Maes Saloon would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe
